In Regards to our Polaroid Cameras on sale to date… (‘cept Polaroid one step close-up)

FYI: in regard to some readers’ comments… to use the polaroid cameras you will have to use filters to work them properly, and right now i only have one pack of 3 filters selling at $15. Please be reminded that you have to use the cameras with filters. You can get these filters very easily at camera shops like Ruby in Peninsula shopping centre. Thank you.

FYI: Production for these precious 600 films have been discontinued, and all the instant film we have are very precious.
The colours are extremely long-lasting yet are very vivid to the eyes. We have saved a couple for our own use but have enough stock to supply you when you buy our cameras. (: And of course, these films are compatible with our Polaroid cameras but will need a little twitching.

Note: All expired film have been professionally stored in dry boxes and kept at cool temperatures. They are definitely still usable and we personally like it for the various unexpected hues we get! However, do not expect the same true colour renditions as unexpired film.

Rainbow – ONE STEP SX-70 LAND CAMERA

This is a nice vintage Polaroid onestep land camera. The camera carries the well known rainbow stripes in its front. This instant picture camera uses SX-70 film and has the built in carrying strap as well as a light & dark setting knob. The condition of this camera is good with some blemishes to the finish and light scratching. We currently have 2 in stock and 1 in excellent vintage condition with the original Polaroid bag selling for $70.

Zebra libra – SX-70 ALPHA 1 MODEL 2

This is a Polaroid camera which has a one of a kind zebra print on its body, a collectors’ item to be exact. It comes with a detachable neck-strap. Little browning due to its ageing process has made some of the whites run. This little gem is such a spectacular find that even I had some difficulty putting it up for sale. I’m sure she’ll fall into great hands!

Black beauty – SX-70 ALPHA 1 SE (SPECIAL EDITION)

They say that black is sleek, never knew that was the trend back in those days! These are the first ever commercially produced SLR with a folding body. It’s little wonder why they call this a landmark camera in the history of photography. The pictures turned out amazing with its intense colours. The Black beauty comes with a detachable neck strap and is in excellent condition except for the white 0 digit that came off.

These are made in conjunction with the Black beauty but it was its aesthetics that made it sell so well in the 70s. ALPHA 1s were the pioneers that made the SX-70s all the rage. What’s so special is the unmistakable Polaroid clicking and rolling out of its chasis like an artpiece being churned out every single time. The best thing is – it’s never ever the same! Comes with detachable neck strap.

Quaintessence found some gems, vintage instant Polaroid cameras, Holgas and Lomos to be exact. It will take another 1-2 days before the detailed specs are out. Well you can’t blame us for testing out on their capabilities too right? Some of these precious oldies are easily over 30 years of age and our items have also been showcased in exhibits. Turns out, old is still gold.
